Absolutely nothing. More a reflection on Sutter's philosophy of drafting of the "sure thing"; guys believed to bottom out in the top 9 on the front end, and top 6 on the back.

Tomasino is one I secretly want for CGY. But Lavoie is like a dream at 26.

ok so realistic options at this point: Roberston, Leason, Brink, Tomasino, Bjornfort, McMichael, Lavoie, Poulin
No idea where they go
EDIT: Also Tracey

If anything he's like Tanner Pearson imo. You can find guys like that outside of the first round, or in ufa. No need to use 26OA on a likely future bottom 6er. Shoot for the moon.

How incredible is it that a country of 5 million people has developed so many 1st round picks?

Apart from being overagers they aren't really similar.

Tomasino would great to get at our pick. Really good skater, RHS C. I think he really fits the direction of this team.

I'd be really happy with Tomasino or Lavoie, but I think they'll come off the board before 26. Would be happy with Bjornfot or Tracey too.

Decent pick but really thought he'd go in the late 20's. Works out for me, odds of the Flames getting Lavoie, McMichael or Tomnosino grow with each pick

Loubardias liked Poulin for the Flames pick as well. To be fair, he named like 6 guys.

Start of Poulins range was 22, according to the spreadsheet posted in the draft thread.
