Any fans of Boston Legal here?

I saw season one DVD set used and decided to take a flyer on it without knowing anything about the show. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, especially James Spader's performance. Shatner is surprisingly good too. Good fun, kinda like a modern day L.A. Law.

Anybody else enjoy the show?

I like the show, but the camera work makes me sick.

My favourite moments were in the episode where James Spader is afflicted with a "word salad" problem. You've gotta see it to understand!

I started to lose interest in "The Practice" when James Spader came on board. (For those of you who don't know- he came onto The Practice in order to create the new spin off.)

I always have problems with a show that is about one person- like Law & Order CI, Monk, etc. Granted this focuses a bit on the other characters; and I think Shatner is golden. But I still can't get over Spader enough to watch it.

Most of the show is so ridiculous, but funny. Its one of my fav's for sure.

I loved it when it was "The Practice". I'd always tune in. But like ken 0042 said, it went downhill once Spader came on. Williams/Flynn Boyle were awesome!

Oh, the show is completely preposturous but is entertaining so that's all that really matters.

I guess if you had a problem with the Spader character then it would make this show unwatchable. However, to me, Alan Shore is what makes the show so funny and entertaining....along with Denny Crane of course. William Shatner is a revelation in the role. Who would have thought?

saw an episode recently where Spader had to defend a client who had fired a man because he was a Scientologist. Abolsutely hilarious.
