Who else is too severely shook to the core to be critical or even think straight right now?

You guys are going to ruin this with your nit picking aren't you.

Most stressful episode of TV ever. That was a masterclass in tormenting your audience with all the worst emotions. Bravo.....

The mass battle rez from Night King though, watching alone and literally said out loud "Oh, that's cruel"

His entire purpose was bait? Did we really have to suffer through so many of his scenes if he was just bait? haha
Maybe the show didn’t do quite enough to establish his character, and this isn’t the first complaint I’ve read of his character’s importance, but I don’t mind it. Bran is basically the memory of the world of men. He’s like it’s soul. To truly end the world of men, the Night King needs to kill the living memory.

It’s like they both ascribe to a mothership concept. Night King for death and darkness and Bran for life and memory.

I stood for the majority of the episode. Some of the best TV in history.

So many amazing moments tonight. The Red Woman lighting the swords and then the Dothraki lights being snuffed out. Little Mormont the giant killer. The Night King surviving the dragon fire. Drogon being swarmed. The Night King raising his arms as Jon tries to get to him. What do we say to the god of death? And Arya coming through in the clutch.

Between this, Endgame, and the expo this weekend I can’t even.

Also kudos to having Grey Worm use basically every "I'm about to die" cliche in the book last week and surviving.

Also, if Jon and Dany are to have any hope in hell of beating the southern armies, somebody is going to need to explain some basic battle strategy using dragons because Jesus Christ they cost a lot of lives with their use, or lack thereof, of the dragons.

Distinct lack of strafing runs, no doubt. Also "attack the ballistas from the side"

They couldn't see the battlefield. Can't just go blindly shoot flames and burn your own men. And it's not like they can help the night king's supernatural abilities.

Dany/drogon getting that complacent while on the ground to get swarmed from behind was pretty bad though. Keep flamethrowimg, dammit woman!

Is Jon's dragon done? If he was I would have figured they'd show him being raised with the rest of the dead, so I'm kinda hopeful.

Jon's dragon is okay. He's in the preview for the next episode.

Alse re: Bran being useless.

It's a lot like Dr. Strange and giving up the time stone in IW. Sees all, but has to let it play out exactly the way it's supposed to. I don't think it was ever his job to turn himself into a weapon. Three eyed raven is there for a different purpose.

He knew exactly where to wait for everything to play out. Knew the cost. Probably why he's been so numb all along.
