2017 broke my spirit and enthusiasm and made me a more casual viewer for sure. Used to never miss a game, but since then I could take it or leave it.

Don't know what 2019 is going to do but how can you be sure of what this team is going to bring starting the second week of April now?

It's tough.

I so wanted them to stick it to all the hockey people that didn't give them a lot of credit for their big season.

I said I wasn’t going to drink tonight for good luck (sober for game 1). #### it, how could this go worse? Avs staying solid, playing their game. Flames have good bursts, but every mistake, every call and lucky bounce going against them. I am stunned as to what happened to the team we saw in the reg season.

There aren’t really any positives from this series, other than some of the guys realising what it takes in the playoffs (the core has mostly been there, but for a lot of guys it’s their first).

Still, this doesn’t discount what we saw in the regular season. It just means we need more. Lots of time and lots of talent to get to where this team needs to be.
