Calgary has had two or three odd man rushes they couldn't finish...

going to have to capitalize on those next period, as they will be getting a few as the avs push to tie the game

The Avs top line was the top line in the NHL before injuries this season...we shouldn't be all that shocked

That, and that there is 20 minutes to go in game 4.

I dunno.

On one hand you have a player who had a bad year, but is traditionally a very good playoff performer.

On the other hand you have one of the worst playoff choke jobs in the history of the sport.

I'm taking Tampa.

- Refs suck: Missed so many penalties for the Flames
- Having TJ Brodie defend for your team is a frightening: His hockey IQ is non existent at times
- Mike Smith is a monster: Saving our bacon again

He was better for a few shifts in the second period but he was weak and played scared in the first period again. Let’s hope he mans up and plays like you need to in the playoffs from here on. Especially in this third.

I understand why Gaudreau shies away from physical play when he weighs 60% less than the league.

No reason for a 6 ft 3 205 lb 24 year old to be softer than baby ####.

My heart can’t take this.

Why do I have to read on CP that Hathaway had his stick slashed?

Almost resulted in a goal.

Cmon Sportsnet that’s brutal.

Wouldn’t mind seeing the Valimaki Anderson pairing get more ice time.

5 on 5 Scoring chances 22-9 in favour of the Avalanche
5 on 5 High Danger chances 13-4 in favour of the Avalanche

Matches the eye test IMO. Calgary had a great 10 minutes but the Avalanche have controlled most of this game.

Yup. MacKinnon is just on another level right now. If he ever went down for any reason, the Avs would be completely hooped. He's the sole reason they currently lead the series.
