if either goalie is struggling like Elliott was, losing 3-0 straight, including blowing one in game 3, you don't start him in the most important game of the year.

Rittich has been good, but I think Smith has been the better goaltender down the stretch and has earned the start for game 1. The entire team tonight is half-assing it in a meaningless game, so the results and performances from this one don't mean squat.
