I really do hope McDavid is okay. There's nothing good that can come out of an injury, nothing. It feels better to beat the Oilers when they're at full-strength, anyway.

The problem McDavid has is even tho he’s an amazing skater he’s going to have to live with the consequences when he charges the net as hard as he does. Especially in the last game of the season with nothing on the line.

Gio wouldn’t of fell if he didn’t grab his stick

No. It's not very emotional at all. Just two teams going through the paces.

Much more confident in 100% recovery from broken tibia than blow out knee.
I understand not all breaks are equal, but still better I think.

Well he will get an MRI to look for knee ligamentous damage as well I would imagine. The spectrum of healing time for these injuries is huge depending on how badly other structures are injured. And of course, assuming the original tibial fracture Dx is correct...what part and does it requires surgery.

Mcdavid's recklessness with his speed isn't Gio's fault, that's for sure. That could easily have happened on many of his similar plays.

Friend just texted me and was close to the tunnel when McDavid came off and he could hear him screaming so it’s likely serious. It sure looked a lot like stamkos so hopefully a full recovery
