Default Ticket for a 2-year old?

Was planning on taking my wife and 30-mos old son to the game tonight with only 2 tickets.

Could any former/current ushers(?) let me know if he will need a ticket or if he can come in without as he will just be sitting on one of our laps?

Best regards,

Yup, thats ok. I think 2 year old is the max age to sit on your lap.

I thought the same thing at first but then I did some math in my head...

0-12 Months = >1 year old
12-24 Months = 1 year old
24-36 Months = 2 Years old

Personally at 30 months it is time for the kid to either not go to the game or to get it's own seat... it isn't a case of the child not being able to properly support itself so I would suspect the Flames would say no-go on that one.

Um... i still do not know how any of you can determine anything without knowing the size of the baby... ?

A small 36 month old would go unnoticed and be fine, a large 18 month old could very well be stopped, right?

It is more about the people seated beside the baby and behind the baby not being disturbed then the age of the baby. So that is a function of size more then age. And now days, with all the super-sized fattie kids i see, that is a pretty big difference.

Thanks everyone for your help.

He is 36 3/4 inches and about 35lbs.

He is small/young enough to get free admission at the zoo, heritage park, calaway, etc. so I hope that he will be able to attend his first game tonight (for free).

Best regards,

Just go through a busy gate, have him sitting up on your shoulder or something. hand the usher your tickets and they likely wont say a word.

The written rule is anybody under 2 gets in free, but they aren't going to ask to see ID. You should be okay.

I did end up calling in, and the official policy is that 2 and under are allowed in for free (although she did mention that some gates could could be more or less generous than others).

We decided, since he would not pass for less than 2, to give away the tickets and go swimming instead.

Thanks again for everyones help.
