5 periods with out a goal. Not to excited on how the team is playing going in the the playoffs.

Hard to watch teams like boston stomping their opponents, while the Flames coast.

On the bright side, a Dallas victory here reduces the likelihood of meeting them in the 1st round.

Has any team ever been shut out twice by the same two goaltenders splitting in two games in a season?

Flames forwards can feel free to finish a check, easy game for Dallas’ D.

Yes these teams are figuring things out when it comes to the Flames breakouts, which is what has generated a lot of possession and chances. Add thst some redux confidence from some of our forwards to make that play in the neutral zone, Dallas like the Kings are turning it back out of their zone quickly.

They aren’t gaining the zone with any speed, so it makes it tough to get to the net. We’re seeing a lot of stationary shots, and it’s just easy to defend.

This is Gulutzan-azz hockey.

Ya, I think a win is more important. That's Oilers type silver lining.

they're not going far in the playoffs if they can't break out against a trap

Lindholm would he missed the the post season. Tough loss if he’s hurt as they say

I hate to say it but since James Neal returned to the lineup, in the two and three thirds of a game since he’s been back, the Flames have scored a whopping 3 goals.

Default Stars @ Flames

Offence has really dried up from the Dmen not named Giordano. I don’t know what Kylington did to get press boxed every game.

His speed could be utilized in games like these where the flames need to push the pace

It’s what the Stars are giving them and Flames aren’t adjusting. The trap doesn’t allow the Flames defenseman to activate and jump into the play or the zone.

Best chances have been off tips in front of the net.

Let's do that more.

Lots of highly seeded teams struggling right now.

It isn't just contained to the Flames. And we're only talking 5 periods of scoring difficulties. One great period can make those previous 5 pretty irrelevant.

I hope the flames seize this opportunity to prevent this from becoming a skid.
