He’s been solid but his style is extremely bizarre. He always dives out towards the puck it’s very odd.

Not really Canucks are playing desperate and lots of good plays offensively and defensively by the flames still

Canucks came to play in this period, but the Flames have done a good job defensively, and Smith has been solid. This is gonna be an exciting finish. Don't think I've ever been this nervous with a 2 goal lead before.

This is playoff style hockey from the nucks and just what the flames need. The Johnny shutdown will be coming hard in the playoffs so we'd best get used to it, just gotta hope they capitalize on chances.

Top line showed a bit of life there that last shift. I'll take it. I honestly do not expect much from the from here on out until game #1 of the first series. 4th line picking up the slack really allows the big guns to take it a bit easy.

Would be really nice if Neal would get one tonight.

Flames play a risky game in their zone. They always look for a break out pass and keep turning over the puck. Even when a flip out of the zone is there.

But they have done that all year, so who are we to question it?

Nice subtle backbump by Neal to create space and make a play. I think he's going to be a lot better.

This has been Smith's best game since his shutout in Nashville.

Perfect time of the year for Smith to go on a hot streak.

Flames with the puck in the Nucks zone and the ref "accidentally" blows the whistle for no reason. What a joke.

I just looked at the on-ice numbers again. The numbers match what we've all been seeing. Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm have been awful. The Flames are going to need them to play way better in the playoffs, especially in the second round.
