I love that we have a team where all 4 lines can score. It doesn't what line you shut down as the other ones are gaurenteed to pick up the slack.
It's also a bonus that Smith and his goaltending has rounded into form. It will be nice going into the playoffs where we can rely on either tender.

It really can’t be said enough how much Derek Ryan has changed this team for the better. He’s quickly turning into one of Tre’s best UFA pick ups and proving to be a substantial upgrade to the 4th line Center role versus the last 2 years with no disrespect towards Stajan intended as he played that role fine enough. Huge shout out to Doc so amazed at what he is bringing to the table.

I propose we call it "Doc and his Patients"
1) Derek Ryan is nicknamed "Doc"
2) Ryan and Hathaway were both undrafted and required lots of patience
3) Hathaway had to be patient at the 2015 draft because he didn't go until the sixth round
okay maybe it isn't the greatest idea
