It would be interesting for sure.  Doubtful, though..  
If Minnesota were to play .500 I think the Oil would need to be at least 9-4 on the way out, never mind the teams ahead of them. 
Even then, they have, what, 69 points now?  That would put them at 87 points.  
Wow.  I know there is a logjam of mediocre teams.  But that would be a crazy low wildcard cutoff. 
So they probably need to win at least 10 of 13, if I am interpreting that right
