I really do love how much I hate the Oilers. It's rather enjoyable.

"Chiadenfreude" will live on in the hockey lexicon long after the departure of its namesake.

Did Jack just say oilers first loss in 5? I'm pretty sure they lost to Nashville in a shootout... does that mean the flames don't count shootout losses as losses

How do I find Koskinens stats since signing the contract? I’d like to see that.

Very much

Yeah I think he’s supposed to be a left wing. Oilers had a spare set of pads and offered millions so he just signed the contract.

I truly cannot believe that people think McDavid is better than Crosby.

He's a ####ing child compared to Crosby. Generational my ass.

Because he’s being press accessible and friendly, and that’s mainly because he’s a marionette to Lowe, and really is not making any tough calls.

And the positive spin is part of the PR bandaid they are trying to put on in the last two weeks.

His best strategy if he wants to get a break in hockey, is,in the next months, ride this wave of PR to get an assistant GM job outside of the Oilers, where he will actually end up learning something and gaining contacts, not get laughed at on the phone and being propped up by the Oilers executives decisions.

The Oilers moved nine points ahead of the Flames in the standings and will not be caught by their rivals this season. In the bigger picture, Edmonton is where Calgary was supposed to be by now, well on their way to being a top-10 National Hockey League team with an long and bright future.

Calgary has been the better franchise for many years. They are not anymore, and are firmly in the chase position from this point forward.

Calgary’s a wild card team at best now, while the Oilers are well in contention for the Pacific Division lead.

It’s a big change in Alberta, and it won’t be changing back soon.
