If Smith was hurt he’d be getting treatment not interviewing postgame. Regardless Rittich is going tomorrow and that means Smith is off til Saturday. They could give him one extra day off and get a week off if needed.

Yeah. If it’s a groin injury, depending on type, there are certain movements that hurt and some you can do normally without issue.
I have had the one down the inside where you can pretty much play net but lose all power to your stride skating out.
Him playing the puck is not indicative of his ability to butterfly or move laterally

tough to tell... Chara is 7 inches taller than Kane...
if you're going to go, go....jumping on him, pulling him down to the ice and then throwing punches at him before Chara knows what is happening doesn't get any respect from me
i'm sure the DOPS will have additional angles

I really don't see how Neal is an upgrade on anyone in the lineup right now.

What do you mean not to be a Debbie downer?

He will be after some time off. I'm guessing Neal comes in and goes on a hot streak.

sure but if he is hurt badly he doesn't go behind the net to get the puck and take a shot at the empty net IMO

Neal will be an important player when the games get heavier and more physical in the post season. I wish people would stop selling him short. The small guys are going to hit a wall, and some beef will be necessary against some of the teams the Flames will have to play through.

Oh good lord poor Steinberg. This guy on Overtime right now saying we should make Michael Stone a forward so he produces like Mark Stone, because he's got a
"similar build". You could just tell through the radio Steinberg wanted to facedesk.

He’s 10th on the team in hits, has had 0 fights and hasn’t even looked the remotest bit physical this season. I wish people would stop pretending he’s a beefy player. Slow, yes. Beefy, no.

I would
I think he would too
Edit: consider adrenaline and all, along with injury severity. Hamonic finished a game with a broken face.

Well, the first obstacle is Cory Schneider. Absolutely in the zone right now.

Did you watch the playoffs last season?
He knows when it actually matters...guy has been to the finals two years in a row. It wouldn't be all that shocking if he is saving putting his body on the line for when it really matters. Its not like the Flames are in a playoff race, they have clinched in February

No but if he's only slightly hurt it's possible we get back to seeing one five hole goal against per game again. I swear that his groin issues played into his weak five hole earlier this year.
