From the Sportsnet angle, looked like he got it with his arm. Phenomenal save.

This is not a good year. This is a really, really great year.

This is such a great stat! It wasn't that long ago when the Flames were just dominated in the faceoff circle.

Some coaching kudos here as well.

Yeah, that Kane punch was right out of the Dazed and Confused fight scene. Kane probably thought a bunch of people would jump in.

I expected Kane to curl up into a ball when Chara started throwing them. Maybe Kane is actually crazy.

Glad Smith is ok. I'll gladly be first in line to eat crow if he keeps this play up. He's been pretty stellar for quite awhile now. It's been a long time since it's been this fun to be a Flames fan.

answered the bell?

he just tried to cheapshot Chara, jumping on him trying to get him out of the fight by punching him on the ice before Chara had a chance.

Zero respect for that clown

I don’t respect him, but no issues with his response to what looked like a head shot to me from Chara (granted I’ve only seen it once from one angle),

Smith would try and score if one arm was hanging on by a thread.
