The analysts at TSN 1040 are a bit beside themselves about this, suggesting that either Markstrom is hurt or Coach Green has lost his marbles.

Also, they have now taken to identifying the SJ Sharks as "the best, highest-scoring team in the Western Conference." Whatever.

anyhoo, the DiPietro start is scary and exciting at the same time. hopefully Marky isn't injured and just rewarding him with some rest.

Less than 4 mins in and the Sharks have scored two goals on three shots. This seems like it was a poorly thought-out idea.
