Sharks look like they are up for this game. Lots of players looking like they are playing to be difference makers in the first period. Flames not looking so ready.

Anyone who thinks the pull was about Rittich vs Smith doesn't get it. It's about giving the team a wake up call. Also I don't agree with how many here talk about Mike Smith. I think he is a great goalie who has had a rough season.

Really hoping Peter's was just giving the young goalie the period to rest, as this team is not winning infront of Smith they way they're playing
One of the worst periods we've seen in a while, but definitely not something they can't score out of pretty quickly. Going to need to have a good first 10 to start the 2nd or this will be out of reach quickly. Especially with long-leash Mike.

This is where I believe we will see, once again, one of the biggest differences between the 2018-2019 Flames and the 2017-2018 Flames. I think the Flames are going to come out and fight furiously to tie it up. Go Flames Go!
