Does Peter Chiarelli's last couple years of work remind anyone of the Seinfeld episode where George is trying to do everything possible to get fired from the Yankees?
I can imagine Chia putting on the skin colored body suit next game and streaking around Rogers arena.

Rasmus Andersson seems to really drive Booster Bob crazy.
From his post-game comments immediately following the end of Saturday's game ...
I was at the game in penticton when Rasmus got tuned up by Nurse.
Nurse spent the entire young stars tourney taking liberties. Rasmus, who I believe had ZERO career fights, got tired of Nurse's BS and showed some serious balls taking on that POS, even if he didn't win the fight.
For Booster Bob to pretend like it was some honourable thing by Nurse is sad. Nurse is a loser and plays like a loser. He's Oiler tough.

The refs don't make themselves available (well, the league doesn't) to anyone. Not media, not teams, etc. Yet this guy gets the inside info that they messed up a call?
Sure.

LMFAO! Yes! This!
Chiarelli on phone: “Gretzky... I can’t get fired!”
Oilers fan walking by: “Hey! Body Suit Man!”
*High fives Chiarelli

“The path forward is the one that… I can’t even imagine what Connor McDavid’s thinking right now. You’ve got the best player in the game and he’s doing everything he possibly can and then some. And yet inside he’s got to feel like he’s dying inside a little bit every game with the Oilers out at bat. I can only imagine he looks at it and says, ‘Where’s our path forward. How do we get better fast.’
“And I can only tell you - and it’s a different time and place - but when he went to Erie as a 15 year old, those first two years in Erie when the Erie Otters weren’t very good, that ate him up.
“I wrote in my book Hockey Confidential - there’s a chapter on Connor McDavid in there - and I talked to him and his family about those first two years. His dad Ryan, a couple of times during the first and second year, would have to drive down to Erie just to talk Connor off the ledge because they weren’t winning. And the funny thing is nobody expected Erie to win just because Connor showed up. And nobody expected the Oilers to win a Cup just because Connor showed up.
“But very rapidly over his time in the OHL, the Erie Otters - led by McDavid - became a model franchise and a powerhouse. And now the exact opposite is happening here.
“So it’s a bleak situation in Edmonton right now, boy oh boy.”
The bold isn't true Bob, but everything else is quite good.

Stauffer is so full of crap, lol. Dude is an embarrassment to his profession, as are the rest of those media clowns working in the Oilers' propaganda department. That entire franchise is the worst in pro sports by a country mile.
Edmonton Oilers @EdmontonOilers
The #Oilers have assigned Caleb Jones to the @Condors. The 21-year-old defenceman appeared in 17 games, scoring one goal & five assists.
That should read 6 assists. The 6th one was the nail in his coffin.

And later in Lowe’s office after Chiarelli trades their first round pick and still misses the playoffs, Lowe is about to fire Chiarelli when Nicholson walks in and takes the fall:
Nicholson to Lowe: “Chia was only acting under my orders... and to be quite frank, I’m tired of all your macho head games.”
Lowe: “Macho head games?”
Chiarelli: “He’s lying sir! I’m the one who’s tired of your macho head games!”

Propaganda Minister Bob Stauffer thinks that the Flames are "a completely healthy team." Pretty clearly this is the reason the injury ravaged Oilers lost on Saturday night.
*EDIT* — And now he claims that the officials admitted after the game that they "blew the call" on Hathaway and McDavid in the first period when McMuffin was cut... I call BS.
NHL officials admit a mistake? Happens all the time lol
God, Oilers fans are so entitled. This guy on the phone thinks that Darryl Katz owes him a refund on his caesar that he purchased at Saturday's game for the Oilers's poor performance.
