I have a buddy who went with his dad to the first game in Edmonton ealier this season and he said Oiler fans around him were cheering for Johnny's throat to get cut by a skate. Very classy indeed.

Woot!!!
Fun game to watch. Taking McJesus out of the game by being physical with him was brilliant -- his end to end wind up didn't work at all.
Flames just handled their business and beat a garbage team. The grease didn't really threaten at all. After being quiet last game, it was good to see Johnny, Mony and Gio dominate again. It also great to see the secondary scoring show up with Kylington and Backlund score.
I wasn't worried for a second this game -- wasn't the case the last 2 years with GG as the head coach.
This season.... it's sooo awesome!

You are right. The second year of Gulutzan just drained me as a fan in a way that I had never felt in my entire time supporting the Flames.
The term “complete 180” gets overused. But in this instance, it is apt.
The turnaround over such a short period in terms of standings, play and entertainment is unlike anything I have ever seen.
