Neal has been... acceptable lately? 3 primary points in 8 games is... better? So I'd rather see him stay in the lineup. Hopefully he's just on a maintenance day.

I would guess that Hamonic will be out for tomorrow's game with Andersson on the second pairing again.

Good on the Flames for letting Hamonic deal with a family illness, classy move. If he was in Edmonton, they'd be pressuring him to play and making him feel bad about it. Just ask Sheldon Souray.

Does anyone remember or know if Neal is/was better on the left side as oppose to the right side?

There was an article about how he started on the left, got moved to right, had to struggle to adjust, but came to like it.

Even outside of just points he has looked a step quicker lately, and seems to be skating and moving a little better.

Still can't seem to find his shot (somebody find him a batch of his old sticks) but hopefully he continues to find his game (even if it's slowly) as we approach the playoffs.

He has been performing better of late. Hopefully he get progressing for the rest of the season. Would be nice to have what we expected of him come playoff time.

If the Flames are going to do any damage in the playoffs, that third line of Bennett-Neal-Jankowski will have to come up big. I will predict that one of them will really catch fire when the refs put away the whistles.

Yep, Flames have to generate offense from their 2nd/3rd and 4th lines if they hope to have any luck in the playoffs.
