I'll be absolutely shocked if the Titans don't draft a QB this year. I mean a lot of us aren't sold on Mariota even fully healthy, but it's clear he's fragile and can't be relied upon to be the guy week in and out. With Mariota locked in to the fifth year option, gives you time to bring a new QB along.

Nah I'm good. I'd rather address the several other areas where we actually need help like O-Line and protect the guy. Guy got hit a lot this year and that's on the horrible O-Line play.

He also isn't actually that good too. But if you want to lock up a guy who's ceiling is the poor man's Alex Smith to a stupid long term deal, feel free. The rest of us are just trying to help.

Anyone watching the playoffs with no stock in it agrees. My friends cheering for AFC playoff teams sure dont though.

You should work on your own 2015 QB draft situation before helping others
Tampa Bay comes out and says Winston is their guy on 2019 but I think that speaks to the draft class rather than their QB intentions

2015 was supposed to be a great QB class for 1-2. 2016 was supposed to be terrible. Obviously life doesn't always work out as expected. The Titans are in a better position to keep Mariota one more year and then draft a QB because their team overall is decent (imagine where they could be if their alleged franchise QB didn't have more turnovers than TDs in the last two years...) whereas the Bucs are going into another full rebuild and keeping Winston for that doesn't make sense. I suppose though the 2015 1-2 QBs lived up to their hype in one way....Mariota was pinged as fragile and Winston a rapist So far, seems spot on.

I wish there was a slight chance New England would end up in the three seed because yeah I'd love to see the current Colts play the Patriots.
But no doubt the Colts could be a dangerous playoff team. It would be a better game next week with the Colts in as opposed to the Titans.

I'm surprised the Buccaneers are keeping Winston. What exactly do they expect to be different next season? I suppose they are hoping a new coaching staff can get more out of him but he seems to lack the leadership intangibles and is too turnover prone.
Supposedly rumours that the Lions may shop Stafford which is also kind of surprising. He's been terrible this season but he's still only 30 and has had some success. I just don't see a better option for them. Seems like the issue with that team is more coaching than QB as Patricia has bombed in Detroit.

I assume they're keeping Winston but will certainly be drafting a QB this year too. Best case maybe Jameis has a career year and you can franchise and trade him, or play the Cousins game of franchising him until it becomes unpalatable. Worst case you're on the hook for one year at a below average rate for a below average QB. Personally I'd move on, especially with the Bucs looking at a new GM and coach, but sticking with him is a mostly harmless move. Giving him a big deal would be abject stupidity though.

That's the third starting Saint to go down in this game and it's the opening drive. That's it I'm done with this, put the entire backup squad out there and stop freaking me out, Payton!

They have already talked to Jim Caldwell and Chuck Pagano.
I suspect no decisions until a few teams are eliminated from the playoffs and/or after todays games.

Tannehill and the Dolphins not exactly helping Adam Gase's case for returning next season. Horrible.

I mean there might be a ton of vacancies this year
Green Bay
Tampa Bay
Miami
NY Jets
Carolina
Cincinnatti
Denver
Arizona?
Detroit?
Maybe Baltimore and Washington too. Gonna be quite the carousel it would seem.

Touchdown Matt Prater?
Green Bay was done with the season 2 weeks ago. Now they're about to get dummies at home by the lowly lions

imagine going from cheering for Mick McCarthys firing to seeing Chuck Pagano emerge as a serious candidate. Brutal.

Rodgers is apparently advocating for Philbin to stay permanently, so Pagano is Belichick by comparison.

I cant pretend to know anything about the Dolphins, but I thought their record was pretty good considering the trash heap they dug their talent from.
If (when) Gase is let go I bet he is one of the first guys signed as a OC

Teddy Bridgewater not exactly cementing himself as a guy that could take over if Brees retires.
