Sure, someone pointing out your failings makes you not want to do favours for them. But it also puts pressure on you to correct them. And Gaudreau/the Flames need to apply that pressure.
You think if Gaudreau does nothing, that the league will spontaneously change itself? Not getting the calls is the default state if the Flames ignore it.

Kypreos has probably never been slashed like that. He played in the days when it was totally okay to waterski behind players. Buff would’ve just hooked Gaudreau and played choo-choo train during the Kypreos era.
