Speaking of end game scenarios and coaching, Gregg Williams almost killed the Browns miracle dream by going for it 4th and 1 up 17-16 with under two minutes left. I definitely understand his thinking, a first down ends the game. But once they missed they basically handed the Broncos a 50/50 shot to win since they only needed to get a FG. A Browns FG in that situation leaves the Broncos probably an 80/20 likelihood to lose, especially factoring in Case Keenum being the other QB. In that situation you should only go for it if you're up 3-5 points.

I dont think he truly believes in miracle scenarios so he wanted to give his young team confidence from the 1 to kill the game off. Especially after the Broncos did not do it when down 17-13

How can he not believe in the miracle scenario? Miracle is a stretch (primarily because the Browns are involved), I think there's probably a 25% chance the Browns win the division which is pretty realistic (especially since this is the Browns). The Steelers will likely lose the next two weeks, the Ravens will probably lose to the Chargers next week. All that is needed is the Bengals to beat the Steelers, which admittedly will be difficult, but the Bengals did sort of end one playoff drought of a cursed franchise last year, maybe it's their destiny to do it again this year.

I thought gambling on 4th was really dumb and so Brown.

Not hard to kick long field goals at Mile High.

Vikings fire their OC after scoring 17 points the last 2 weeks.

They have 21 points in the 1st quarter today.

If Dak is gonna hold on to the ball forever, he should at least roll out so he can maybe make something happen with his legs.

Its mind boggling how different the Cowboys are on the road vs at home.

Different team completely.

I really thought they had it figured out and were going to go on a run...but man they can be terrible.

Nagy not having a very good day, two horrible calls have been very costly.

Colts were the easiest bet I made this week. Barely beating a garbage Eagles team and they're giving points on the road? Lol.

That Colts defence is actually playing really well. Since week 6 it's been as good as any in the NFL. They might finally have something resembling a team around Andrew Luck.

Its the same thing people are saying about the rams today, there are stories on espn and the ringer about their 2 year window starting now after signing donald. The bears are a year behind them with trubisky a year after goff, but there is a reason people question how much defensive playere can make on a cap team, and if you can have enough talent to build a team while paying at least 25% of the cap to two guys

So if the rams have a 2 year window, the bears is 3, i dont think the bears are close to the rams at this point

Which is all i was saying as to why it may not work out for them

Also you saying the bears should be in the wild card discussion

Vegas doesnt agree

Their over under in wins is 6.5, thats tied for 2nd worse in the nfc with the bucs, only arizona is lower
I guess we were all wrong. Bears really aren't going to be in the wildcard discussion.

Such a great win, clinched the division with weeks to go AND dusted the Packers, ending their season to cap off their "100 years" celebration that I'm sure the NFL was just waiting to shove down our throats all season.

I dont expect much playoff success but it sure is fantastic to watch everyone eat crow today when it comes to the Bears and especially Mitch Trubisky.

BEAR DOWN
