I’m guessing none of you listened to the original post game call in show on QR77... It was a bloodbath.

Went to the game last night and got sick. Think I came down with the Quine flu, just going to Netflix and Kyill today.

Enjoyable game to watch this morning, great to see the depth and confidence. We are lucky to be facing a depleted Preds team, this same team last year would have squandered that break, amazing the difference a year, and different approach to the game makes. Really like seeing the guys buying and getting into the right positions, was funny watching Smith direct a few of the rookies when they needed it but made me notice the positioning of others is really nice, they are really stifling and ready to rush up the ice at the first opportunity.

Lastly I have to say... That is what a properly officiated game looks and feels like! Didn't insert themselves into the play or slow things down, made the calls when they made sense and just let the guys play instead of calling every little thing.

Looking forward to getting to see the one tonight in real time and not on recording!
GFG!

The confidence there is crazy. If he misses, that's a 3 on 1 going the other way

I feel a little bad for anyone who wasn't at least a teenager for part of the 90s. It was the last decade before all of our freedoms were curtailed and we started living 1984.

The show could use one more personality to keep the conversation more engaging and less of a back and forth. I've listened to a few teams who have a 2 person post game call in show and it flows a lot better. I'm sure they could convince one of the many young hosts that's looking to build up a profile to step in for some extra low pay air time.

Also, it's okay to take the question or have the caller say their piece and then let the caller hang up and talk to it. It doesn't always need to be a never ending back and forth, especially when the caller is drunk or a buffoon. It's also another way to shorten the show which is better for everyone.

One of the main issues I have with most of 960 is that they find a format or way of doing something and change/adapt once a decade. That's probably the one Upside of the morning show. They try new things for better of for worse.

The other thing I like about that is how convincingly they deserve that lead. 10 more goals for than anyone else on the Pacific, and less goals against than anyone except Arizona.

LOL at Hathaway being a total d-bag on Hartman, then scoring the GWG on a beauty tip-in. Makes up for people going insane when Rinaldo sniped the GWG against us earlier in the year.

In the NHL anyone can score (well, unless it’s 2018/19 and your name is James Neal )...

That differential also includes that 9-1 loss. Usually takes a good chunk of games to balance that back out.

I'm seriously in love with that blueline. Giordano playing his best hockey, Brodie being back to his pre-GG self, Hamonic being an absolute beast this year, Hanifin improving and fitting in well and several youngsters coming in and stealing jobs. And that doesn't even include a solid all around defenseman like Stone yet. Then 3 of the top 7 are out (including the Norris calibre captain) and everybody else just steps up. What's not to like?

kudos to Ryan Huska and the coaching staff too for developing Andersson and Kylington in the AHL these past couple of years. I see two young defenseman that have improved massively and will be solid NHL defensemen for years to come.

You know the Flames are either doing really well or really poorly when everyone starts stating how old they are.

I think it should be mentioned that although he didn't hit the scoreboard last night, Derek Ryan supplied a really nice fill-in for Backlund and played some really important minutes without getting burned.

It will be a whole different scenario tonight with him likely up against the saviour, but early returns were pretty solid.

Anyone else notice that Rasmus and Brodie had some serious chemistry as the game went along? They looked Brodano-esque.
