You caught Xbox Ones for $99 and figured you'd circle back to it later?

Black Friday was 6 times a normal day, 3 times a Saturday. Boxing Day will probably be around the same as Black Friday, but all of Christmas up to around the 20th is super busy.

I wouldn't buy anything below the 8xx models. The 6/7 series are aggravatingly difficult to maintain while the 8xx/9xx (and i assume the new i models) are a comparative dream.

Does the States do something differently than us on Black Friday in stores?

Although rather amusing and entertaining, every year it ceases to amaze me the viral videos that come out.

Common decency and courtesy goes out the window as these animals do whatever it takes to get their hands on the doorcrasher items.

Some places you can save like 90% on TV's and such. If we got the deals they got there would maybe be the same reactions.. But we also have far fewer people here so who knows.

Not sure how much might have been related to the weather on Friday, but vehicles were lines up out of Chinook out onto Glenmore, and from Market Mall all the way to the bottom of the hill in Shaganappi when I drove home after work. You couldn't get near either one of those places. So maybe we just have better manners.

I kind of wonder what the point of this is. Just advertising or do people reside in the store to buy other stuff once all the good stuff has been snagged? If it was my intent to get a TV that was 90% off and I missed it, I would probably just go home.

You mean you wouldn't want to steal it from out of the hands of a kid? I can't tell what product these people are doggy-piling over.

Disgusting behavior!

How odd. There were still boxes of whatever on the floor, why would she automatically go for the kid's?

In my search to find out what was in the boxes (a veggie steamer), it turns out the video may be staged. My faith in humanity is restored.

Got the notification that the PS4 Spiderman bundle I ordered from Toys R Us won't be coming. Although the site said in stock, the order said it was found in stock and waiting shipping, and a customer service rep said it was on its way, it's not.

They offered a $25 gift card, but I'm thinking of asking for the value of the deal: $120.

Under contract law, I think you are entitled to that. Especially seeing that you could show that you had the option to purchase elsewhere, they agreed to sell you those items for that price, and that they still sell each of those items.

However, given the crappy service that has become the norm for Toys R Us in the past 10 years or so, I'm not sure that it would be worth the headaches.

I don’t think that’s how contract laws are written. As long as they don’t keep his money, Yamer has suffered no damages, and is entirely whole.
