Let's not be too surprised, their team sucks. Also by January they've passed out from the stink that wafts over Edmonton from Leduc.

Oil stain and stang are fine. Don't know why anybody is suddenly deciding to call out the least trollish and ballsiest oiler fans around that can tough out the last decade of terrible hockey and still be regulars on here, even through the daily doses of embarrassing content their team continues to provide that we get to revel in. That's impressive.

And even if they do pull one out tomorrow, it wouldn't be without a huge asterisk with all the factors playing into it. Gio, Backlund our key penalty killers and others out, defence reshuffled, back to back. If the oilers media can bring up excuses for their team over mcdavid being sick and remind viewers of it 500 times over a game, then we can have a couple in our pockets for tomorrow, that are pretty legitimate.

If we beat them though, then yeah, that'll really emphasize the E=NGness and I think we have a half decent chance at it too with the way the team is going.

Lol, yeah if there's one thing Flames and Oilers fans (Tier I and II) can agree on it's that the Canucks and all their unholy fair-weather bridge-and-tunnel fans suck.

The Canucks are only slightly less no-good than the Oilers.

I'd be worried if I was Stang that someone will get a court to sign over power of attorney. This is proof enough they're incapable of handling life themselves

We have to compliment them once in a while, like we should mention how proud we are that Oil Stain wears black socks with his sweatpants and good shoes.

So the pick that you got because you were worse than the Flames is better than the player after. That happens all the time, but you would think with Tkachuk and Puljujarvi they might not want to go with this. Glass house and all that.

And good to see Tkachuk is still living rent free in their heads.

This is the 'Bread and Butter' part of the Oilers' schedule where they're playing tired teams and losing Gio and Backlund doesnt help.

Honestly, I think its going to be a lot closer than it really should be this time around. We'll see how the game goes tonight and we'll have a better idea after that.

At least with our second game the travel wont be too bad.

The Coiler fans and media are no good hypocrites. Worried about Chucky not fighting an ECHLer when he had absolutely no reason to. He really never did anything that egregious in that game. Yet Dry Saddle gave Chucky the ol' slew foot. When he was challenged to go, he declined. Those gloves were crazy glued on. Even after getting punched in the face multiple times, a la Marchand on Daniel Sedin...

Seriously, that loser sounds 15 - why are people quoting and discussing him?

There is more than enough Oilers' no goodness to address without quoting trash from HFB.

Really charging up those standings. I especially liked the “our #3 pick is better than your #4 pick. True but our #104 pick is better than everyone on that roster outside their 4th #1 pick. Also our top defense pairing of #114 pick and undrafted signing are in another stratosphere when compared to any Oiler pairing. And, man oh man does Tkachuk ever get them triggered. Talk about small man syndrome.

Meh, that thread is the bi-polar nature of that fan base. Tomorrow night they'll be sitting on their bean chairs (Because they can't afford chairs) staring at their 13 inch top of the line black and white TV's (because its Edmonton) wondering where it went so wrong . . . They were on a hot streak, and Calgary came in and cut them apart like a buzz saw on a thumb.

That whole thread is a testament to the stupidity of the Oilers and their fans.

Yeah, I'd also question the age of that poster; it's the hockey forum equivalent of the star wars kid. Also, I'm pretty sure the swanky new arena was leaking and didn't have enough bathrooms too. Jeez.

Look forward to all the penalties Chucky will draw from their plugs tomorrow.

I honestly don't think I would hate the Oilers as much as I do if their fans weren't as obnoxious as they are.

While one or two are okay, the majority are a pile of asshats.

the comment of their number 3 pick being better than our number 4 is nonsensical...

i mean, yeah, typically teams try picking better players with higher picks.

the fact that poolparty sucks is hilarious cause they could have picked Tkachuk but passed
