8 times in Atlanta, 47 in Calgary. This is only the 3rd time in the last 20 years (22 years and 11 months to be precise), and all three were on the road.

The top line and first PP unit is winning games for this team by themselves. Everyone else is doing well at not losing the game.

It's times like this I really love watching games through Gamecenter. Stopped watching after the 4-1 goal and did some work instead. Checked my phone a while later and saw the score at 6-5, fired up Gamecenter from where I left off to see WTF happened and caught up by the start of the 3rd. I don't think I could ever go back to watching games without some kind of DVR

I don’t pin it all on the coaches, there was an element of keeping #27 happy, or else. By the end, it was for keeping his trade value high.

I'm satisfied with the game. It's easier to get the goals against down from 6 than it is to get the goals for up to 9.

I think at this point it is a combination of playing him back on his old spot, with his old D partner, but also a head coach who clearly helps instill confidence in his players to play to their full potential.
I don't think putting Brodie back on the right side under GG would have been the magic button.

Idk i think the LA Kings 3-0 comeback after the losing streak and a few others were better. This one was great but i wasnt worried at all in any part of the game so it didnt feel as great.

That's my point though. It was not tried. All they had to do was try it. Even for a game or two. Switch it back for the other 80 if it doesn't work.
Anyway, awesome game. Thought Czarnik had his best as a Flame.

2 years of Gulutzan hockey has left me scarred. I turned games off after the Flames went down 2 goals last year and don't think I ever regretted it. It's gonna take some more rehabilitation before I can get rid of that sinking feeling when the Flames go down by a couple
