I'm glad you qualified it, as I was trying to find where most of the penalties were.
That said I counted around 2 or so penalties. But is that a "look at all the calls they aren't calling on McDavid!!! Bias!!" vs just calls that got missed/weren't called, in line with the average game/any other player type of thing. I
This is probably a good example of both the Oiler fans overreacting to non-calls, as many of them are whatever plays, but also the legitimate gripes they do have...
The thing is EVERY team in the NHL has a player or two who likely draws more penalties than are actually called. The Oilers and McDavid are not special.

I caught the end of the Oiler vs Kings game last night. Did I hear correctly the oilers broadcasters refer to the lucic line as the “identity” line? Lol.

Take a look at the one at 16 seconds. It's almost like the refs were trying to decide if it was a penalty or penalty shot and forgot to call either.
Every single team in the league could throw together a quick video from their last few games showing several miss calls, including some egregious misses.
What is your point?
The point from the other poster that you were attempting to counter (I assume) was that a lot of Oiler fans think that their team is being singled out by the league. That they are victims of a conspiracy.

Also, it is hilarious that someone took the time to put that compilation together because, other than the one you mentioned, none of the other plays were penalties IMO.

Yeah, the world does not seem to be up in arms about a couple of borderline non-calls, even the Oilers fans aren't pushing this down HFboards.

Yes, and most of their fanbase thinks it's a joke as well. They're slowly getting it up there.
When the Oilers were in the 2nd round in 2017 up 2-0 i cant imagine how bad it must have been here and online. Thank god i was out of the country at the time and i purposely ignored anything hockey related to get away from their hype all summer. Kudo's to whoever had to stick around for it. We may have been hopeless at the time going into the season with no major changes and another year of Glen and just swept by the Ducks while Oilers are up 2-0 against them. Oh how things change. Enjoy this while u can.

Yeah that is supposed to be their identity line a hard working line that plays physical and wares down the opposition... I dont know if any of the oiler fans see the irony in such an awful line being named their identity line

It was all good when they blew that 3-0 in the last couple minutes

Not sure if it's been mentioned but if anybody is looking for 18:10 of pure comedy, have a watch of this. You can just sense the despair and it is glorious.
TY RATTIE. 3. Played just 3:32, and was not good when he did. Shot attempts were 1-7 with Rattie on the ice. It’s worth noting that Ken Hitchcock has a long memory, and that his time with Ty Rattie in St. Louis previously did not end well.
Haha! Hattie McRattie got his old boss back.
