i regret to say I will not be home until the wee hours of morning, which means ATL would be up at an ungodly hour.

3-0-1 this year at the Dome though!

Flames erupt again in the first, but the Jets really pushed back hard. I don't think it was a matter of the Flames not playing hard - Jets are a really good team and they pushed hard in the 2nd. Flames did a fairly good job of containing them, and when they didn't, Rittich was there to make the big saves.

This team is so much better over last year's team simply because they are playing much more consistently. They don't get rattled. They can handle the big push-backs. They aren't giving up. The last time I saw a Flames' team being this CONSISTENTLY tenacious was the 03-04 Flames and Hartley's consistent 3rd periods.

Great to see some depth scoring tonight as well, although that 2nd line is providing a strong offensive presence too. Flames aren't a one-line team any longer.

Lastly, I blasted Ryan on these boards a number of times, but over the last few games I felt he has really contributed very nicely. He is playing reliably and effectively, and he is helping this team win games now. I really felt like he was a passenger on any given line other than his face-off abilities, but he has been much improved.

Suddenly the Flames are a team that look like they don't have any holes. If they keep it up, they will push themselves into that elite category.

That first period was incredible to watch live. Rittich really kept us in the game afterwards though. Great night overall. My Jets fan friend had to give his props

In deference to all of the other posters, it's the main reason I come to the PGT.

Also, I can only guess at the time it takes to prepare the ATL. Hat's off to Gaskal for all the effort. I suspect it might be very cumbersome to get to, especially after watching the game live... probably loses sleep compiling these for us.

It takes less than 2 seconds to find Gaskal's posts. Just make two clicks, which I've highlighted with red boxes.

And, can Scorch resize the giant image or put it behind a spoiler? It's distorting everything.

Zac Rinaldo's absolutely stoppable goal vs Nashville probably would have been a game that went to OT, and we own Nashville in OT -> 2pts

@Anaheim, I he was terrible -> 4pts

Montreal was definitely beatable -> 6pts

Remember when this team couldn’t score an empty net goal?

Feels good man, especially seeing Gaudreau out there at the end.

Getting tired of the resident “Mike Smith Apologist” Loubo every single game.

Game Takes:
Flames 6 Jets 3

- Five more first period goals
- Jets put the Flames on their heels in the second
- David Rittich stands tall when needed most
- Flames out right leaders in the Pacific

Thanks in advance, now some of us can go get some sleep and seek out the ATL in the morning. Maybe you need a couple people who can cut your work down and send you some snippets. Poor Gaskal up in the wee hours; anything we can do to lighten the load up know!

Was at the game tonight! If Big Save Dave wasn't this teams #1 in the mind of the coaching staff, he is now. Just plain WOW

Also, shout-out to Flames Organist Willy Joosen. Just such a treat to listen to his little riffs and pop-culture references throughout the game.

First in the Pacific!! Onwards and upwards boys.
