I was comparing prices on similar potencies. I was surprised to see Nova actually had higher potencies than anything available that I had previously seen from LPs, for cheaper than from an LP.

Maybe the same idea as over the counter drugs - Large packing to dissuade theft?

I suspect because of the varying quantities you can buy, it's actually cheaper just to standardize on one size of packaging across the board instead of manufacturing multiple sizes.

If you order 30 grams at a time its free shipping. A bottle like that is equivalent to 10 grams.

Bulk bins, metal scoops and plastic bags. This is the method we need.

My order (placed last Wednesday) hasn't even been processed by OCS yet (let alone shipped). I don't really care because I mostly bought it for the sake of novelty but still... not very impressive performance so far.

In the not so distant future, Amazon will be delivering weed, and weed byproducts, by drone, to wherever you happen to be at the moment.

South Korea says it will arrest citizens who smoke weed in Canada
Quote:
“Weed smokers will be punished according to the Korean law, even if they did so in countries where smoking marijuana is legal. There won’t be an exception,” said Yoon Se-jin, head of the narcotics crime investigation division at Gyeonggi Nambu provincial police agency, according to the Korea Times.
South Korean law is based on the concept that laws made in Seoul still apply to citizens anywhere in the world, and violations, even while abroad, can technically lead to punishment when they return home. Those who smoke weed could face up to five years in prison.

Was down at the strip mall at Macleod and Heritage, they have a COOP pot store opening soon. For some reason they have security guards standing around out front, must have product inside already. Decided to go check out the store down the road, they have barricades for crowd control out front but there is no line up. Went inside (had to show photo ID), place was fairly busy but really not much of a lineup. Quite the variety of people, couple of people in suits, one guy looked straight out of a Cheech and Chong movie. They are charging $20 a gram, holy crap, what was the street price before legalization?
Don't think I'm into trying it again just yet but it was an interesting visit. Like a big coffee shop.

It looks like the AGLC has now approved 12 stores in Calgary, so it's probably just a matter of time before they start opening: https://aglc.ca/cannabis/retail-cann...icensee-search

It is kinda funny that most of the stores are in older SW neighbourhoods where lots of seniors live.
