Johansen played 20:05 for the Preds.

Nugent-Hopkins played 27:02
McDavid played 24:20
Draisaitl played 23:18

That's some depth right there! When they stack the lines, as Kypreos suggest they should in order to have any chance of winning anything, is there a more expensive line in hockey? Together they have an average draft position of 1.66. Can any other team ice a group of forwards all drafted top 3?

Haha, stupid Oilers can't even net 1 against a tired, beat up Preds team. It is a tad lame it's always the Flames beating up a fresh team for them though.

Does this mean the Rat McNugget line was broken up and Drai is back up there on tap-in detail?

I'd say that's the same pace as the Flames but in the Flames' case they're playing just good enough to get a high draft pick for which ever team Treliving unloads their 1st off to this year =-o

Laviolette made a deal with the Preds players that if they won both games in Alberta, this is how he'd do the post-game media scrum in Edmonton...

Gene's probably so jealous.

^ That's...terrifying

Preds' D is so stacked, it's almost unfair. Subban played the 4th highest minutes on the backend today.

He's on After Hours right now, and they've spent most of the time talking about his GQ shoot. No joke.

Unfortunately the kid seems like a decent guy. Too bad a couple more years of being on the Oilers will change that.

Thank you, someone denying that they are ken king a bit too much for someone who isn't actually Ken king.

There was a thread about new jerseys directed at you not too long ago, I hope you saw it.

Wow watching the Oilers there are things that are really consistent night to night.

Poolparty is completely invisible, as much as we complain about Bennett at least the kid does productive things when he's not scoring. Poolparty just looks awful. I have this feeling that he's playing like an unhappy player. Is Europe in his future as soon as next year. I mean his next contract is going to be low dollar, might as well go home and you know . . . not be in Edmonton.

Klefbom is bad, he's positionally bad, he makes bad decisions. His best year was the fluke year a couple of years ago. "But he's a top pairing defenseman in the making" bleated a bunch of Oilers fans. "No honey chil, he's a mid pairing guy on a bad team"

After starting with a goal and an assist against New Jersey, Lucic has gone back to only showing speed when he's muscling past McDavid on the way to the buffet table "Out the way Mr Lets Go, there's cake to be eaten" bellowed Lucic as he plucked a donut out of his double chin and scarfed it done as a pre buffet energy boost". Since New Jersey he's scored no goals, no assists and been a minus 4. But his intimidating glare makes catering work faster.

Without Connor McMylifesuckswhydidIsignthatdeal. Draisaitl is a 8.5 million dollar state of the art high tech stealthy boat anchor. You can just see the contempt dripping off of his face, "Ohne Connor bin ich nicts".

Poor Yamamoto, his one game miracle "He's arrived" screamed the Oilers fan base streak came to an end as Yamamoto stood on the deck of his career and light a mighty battleship is feeling it slowly dipping below the waves that is Oilers expectations.

After tonights game Cam Talbot could be heard grousing "only 76 games left til my contract expired. Then he started rocking and mumbling to himself as reality hit"

A great philosopher who time traveled to the future observed the Oilers and made the statement "Without Connor the Oilers are nothing, without the Oilers Connor exists". Then he jumped back in the time machine and philsophized

"Not even Connor can save the Oilers

No one can

No one"

Then he vanished back to pre Jesus Greece and was struck by lightning.

I want puljujarvi to be shipped out, but if possible I would love for a proper team like the flames to give him a crack first. The kid had unreal talent as an underage, just needs the like stink to come off. Valimaki could help teach him English for real
