that shot on EP is deadly, I dont want to make any comparisons but it is amazing how hard and accurate it is.
Roussel also scores on his first game on a penalty shot.

Ugh...Panthers can't buy a win so far. I was hoping for a better start. This is a team that should be in contention for a playoff spot.

Jesus...Reimer making 3 unreal saves so far in the 3rd. I don't know why the Panthers don't play defense, but they just don't. They can score enough to win, but as long as they defend like this it's going to be a long year.

Matheson hammers Pettersson into the boards. Nothing dirty, but he's is slow to get up.
Welcome to the league kid. You're going to have to put some meat on that frame if you hope to survive.

The initial hit wasn't the issue - the throwing him to the ice afterwards, which is likely where the injury happened is pretty well the definition of roughing. Not the worst hit in the world but it was worth a 2 minute penalty.
