this is all about technique though isn't it? stance, angle, target and flow rate all mean the difference between a perfectly executed standing pee, and a yellow stain apocalypse.

what gets me is urinals at work where the floor is soaked. like maybe if you're at a club or the dome where half the dudes are drunk and just randomly spraying everywhere, but why the hell does that happen at an office?

Would I be pointing out the obvious that half the people in your office are drunk too?

Raw egg is only supposed to be added to dolsot bibimbap. Dolsot means "stone pot". It's supposed to be super hot, and then the ingredients added. The raw egg is meant to be mixed in and cooked with the rest of the bibimbap. If you get a raw egg with bibimbap in a regular bowl, they did it wrong.

Soondubu, a type of Korean soup that is not at all popular or known in Calgary, also has the same type of idea. You get a super hot boiling bowl of soup and you crack an egg and put it in. It gets poached in the hot liquid, or you can mix it around.

Forgot to mention, with bibimbap you're only supposed to get the yolk.

			I don't worry about germs.

I have 3 small kids ranging from 4 to 11. If what they brought home/ate/shat/vomited/touched/drank doesn't cause ebola in my house, then a raw egg or dirty door handle in a public washroom sure won't.

Bring on the Mexican water!!

A fetus, by definition, has to be fertilized. A chicken egg is just an egg. Come on troutman, you're smarter than that.

Ever been to China? It’s an epidemic there. When I got off the plane I thought the signs at the airport to step closer were a little odd, but the rationale for them was evident quickly. At the Great Wall they just gave up and put a grate in the floor beneath the urinals.

Thanks for making my mouth water. One of my favorites. The Korean restaurant on 10th ave serves it with dolsot bap (just rice in a hot bowl). Hot, spicy soup with rice, then you add water or tea to the stone bowl to get the crispy bits of rice.....mmmmm

It's deliberate. At one place I worked at, everyday somebody picked their nose and wiped it on the wall over one of the urinals.

That’s some heavy stuff right there. Especially since the last post I read was about Huntingwhale’s semen covered cell phone that he refuses to clean for some disgusting reason.

I think you might have "disgusting" and "tragic" mixed up, but I agree none-the-less.

On a less serious note, people who share earbuds. Don't get me started about microphones at the bar. Its always the singers too cheap to buy a decent mic and bring it with them that are always sick. Anyone here ever use a house mic at the Shamrock or the old King Eddy? I bet there was stuff growing in those things that could kill a bear.

The vast majority of these are absolutely baffling to me. I wonder how relatively often you germaphobes get sick.

Also, I'd advise most of you to never study history, and never go into a time machine that will take you to the past. The descriptions of the streets and the smells alone will be enough to make you puke. Thank your lucky stars that you live in North America in 2018.

Life expectancy has been on the up and up since then. There is also a #### tonne of more people now.

Life expectancy has mostly increased due to the knowledge of infectious diseases, spoiled food, contaminated water, malnutrition, and injuries, mostly at work. This thread should be called First World Problems in the 21st century. The vast majority of these are silly and do not contribute to an extended life one single iota.
