Kind of a discombobulated abreviated powerplay effort there. the ideas were good. the execution of those ideas....not so much.

It was a two on two and he got walked. Bad communication or lack there of.

Yeah, quite liking him. I think Brodie looks like the Brodie of old as well.

Flames forcing passes into the middle a bit, but that’s better than being content with standing around the perimeter and hoping rubbish goes in. I like the change.

...Hamonic’s play in my eyes is the most concerning thing of the pre-season so far.

Awesome by Hanifin to break up the play and know to make a perfect pass up the ice so quickly.

I'd like to see Hanifin with Andersson for a bit.

Move Hamonic to the 3rd pairing? I could see that.

I think Andersson deserves a look in Stone’s position. He has looked mobile and smart.

Jankowski and Bennett generate every time they’re on the ice. Awesome to see.

Neal on that line could be huge in 5v5 play. Gets them a true finisher.

Nice to see competent goaltending so far.

A couple good sneaky chances the past few on some long difficult feeds.

Flames definitely looking better this period. Only a matter of time before they get one. Lots of quality chances.

I know it's exhibition, but it's so deflating when you get good entry into the zone and the next line over is the Lazar line. I hope that isn't the type of bench management we see in the regular season.

4th line squanders gifted offensive zone time. Andersson needs more looks.
