To me everything mentioned about Rez I experienced the same things not living in Rez. I am sure I partied at least as much as those in Rez and had plenty of great times and friends from University. I didn't go to U of C so perhaps the experience may be different but you certainly don't need Rez to have fun, party and have great times.

I am not saying that you shouldn't go to Rez just that you certainly don't need it to have a great time and meet friends.

nvmind...

University is what you make of it. As for rez or not, you can make either route work or fail, you just have to be honest about who you are and what your strengths/weaknesses are (especially with respect to discipline) and decide accordingly.

Awww, come on guys, quit making the decision to live in rez a deep philosophical awakening of who you are.

If you want to have a great time, live in rez. If you want to make the absolute best of your university career, live in rez. If you want to get laid, hey, unless your parents are hippies, live in rez.

If you want to be one of those nerdy engineering students that never shower, live at home. If you want to save money to spend on Mother's Day presents, live at home.

This will be the only small time-frame in your life that you will be able to justify the crazy antics that happen in rez. All these people who are saying that living at home was great, haven't been through their mid-life crisises yet, trying to do what they could've done at a more appropriate age. All right, you saved a couple grand, but your life story is much, much more lamer.

But, I mean this in the nicest way possible. I'm sure they're all really great, boring, people.
