Knights sign Colin Miller, 4 YR $15.5 M (3.875 AAV)
Good for him. Earned a nice payday after being taken in the expansion draft.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

Expecting guys that just got traded to take a discount isn't realistic. I don't expect either of these signings to be cheap.
Loyalty and trust have yet to be built and Flames have shown their interest by the package given up to acquire them.

So it was a whole $300k less than what Cane predicted? Wow, what a discount!
