Too much tradition and traditionalists in soccer. They love it the way it is.

I believe there needs to be some rule changes to bring the game into the modern era, but it'll never happen.

what's a few yards? the penalty spot is only 12 yards away.

they will creep up, and creep up cutting down the angle.

With how chippy this game has been, and with how England hates PKs, I feel like this Extra Time is going to be crazy.

I mean it is fate. At least they had no expectations this time around right?

Damn, I hate that the goon squad in yellow may move on.

How about moving the penalty kicks back further?

England with a sub up their sleeve, and Colombia with none. Plus Mina with a possible groin pull. That gives me a sliver of optimism for England.

Big issue is that the Colombians had to go for it so they've got a predominantly attacking lineup out there, maybe they'll push for the winner and Vardy can exploit some space.

This isn't even enjoyable to watch. If I wasn't curious who wins, I'd probably turn this off (and if the alternative wasn't going back to work). First time I've thought that this entire WC, including blowout matches with low ranked teams

England are physical gassed and emotionally broken. Might be lucky to get to penalties at this point.
