Marouane Fellaini said: "I am pleased to be continuing my journey as a Manchester United player. I made this decision because I am very happy here."
Jose Mourinho said: “I am very happy Marouane is staying with us. I always believed in his desire to stay with the club and I am delighted that he has signed a new contract.”

wooooow. They couldn't troll the fanbase any harder, even if they tried to. Rewarding a bang average player with a 2+1 contract for his "desire to stay", right after said player spent months offering himself to numerous clubs around Europe ... unbelievable. What a gongshow this club has become ... and then they'll probably wonder why both the club and the player are torn to pieces by the fans on social media.
Shove Martial out the door and re-sign Fellaini. Never change, Jose.

Should we start a pool as to when Martial gets nominated as EPL player of the year a la Salah and De Bruyne?
The Jose Mourinho 'Kiss of Death' is the best thing that can happen to a young player.

Best for both sides that he moves on to somewhere he'll be a sure starter.

I guess I was wrong in suggesting Sunderland as he appears to be heading to West Ham! I can't decide which of the two parties to laugh at here.

City would buy him though, if anyone could splash that kind of money around.

West Ham are interested in a shock reunion with Dimitri Payet - less than two years after he walked out on them mid-season.
The 31-year-old has been offered to the Irons with boss Manuel Pellegrini keen as he was not at the club when Payet left in January last year.
The sticking point is understood to be cash with Payet asking for wages that the Hammers - close to a deal for free agent Jack Wilshere - are not prepared to pay.
|
This is really surprising. I wasn't happy with how he left, and I know he's a bit older now, but I'd take Payet back. He was one of the most electrifying players I've ever seen. I just hope he still has some magic.

He's back! Everyone's favourite keeper!
Just looking to fly under the radar and get back to work.
With the exception of a small self promotion instagram video.
Welcome back Loris and thanks for the memories!

Mahrez to City is done. What an utterly absurd collection of attacking talent they have, they should be forced to play half their games with 10 men.

Nice little tie in here with CP's favourite little club (Tranmere) and Karius apparently still concussed. I really hope that Liverpool has decided to run with him!

Perception will be reality with Karius if this keeps up. Or maybe Tranmere are on their way to CL league glory this year as well?

Napoli president De Laurentiis confirms that Jorginho is not joining City, but Chelsea instead.
Poor City, another player choosing money over the noble St. Pep project. Or that'll be their spin, at least.

We got to the CL final and 4th in the PL with Karius and Mignolet, imagine what we could do with a keeper that could occasionally bail out mistakes?

Fulham have pulled off a major coup, signing Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri despite interest from way bigger clubs. No idea how they did it, but both Wolves and Fulham will make for interesting additions to the league. Wolves obviously have the Mendes cheat code, and Sessegnon-Seri-Cairney at Fulham will be great to watch.

Conte has finally, mercifully, officially been fired. Given what a shambles the Chelsea board and upper management appear to be, it's pretty impressive they have two PL titles in the last four years.

Sarri and Jorginho pretty much confirmed, and Higuain could follow. Getting the old Napoli gang back together ...
Kante/Jorginho in a Sarri midfield is terrifying.
