Looking for 70+ if he plays on the right side of Gaudreau Monahan for the full year.

Hudler got 76 in Gaudreau's rookie year.... 20 points better than his career best. The next year he was on 55 pt pace and was out of the league 51 games after he got moved off that line.

The Flames have been soooooooooooo lacking talent in the top-6 that it is beyond crazy. Ferland is a 20-25 pt player that got 40. Lindholm is a 45 pt player so if he has peaked at age 22-23 out he should get 65 pts.... chances are he has not peaked.

Going with 48 points, 21 goals/27 assists. Low expectations.

I’d be thrilled with 60 pts from him. Excited to see what kind of point totals Monahan will get now, Ferland was streaky but could never really create anything with his passing and it was usually Gaudreau who was setting up both. Having two playmakers on both sides could make Monahan into an 80 pt Center.

I think people predicting 70+ points are getting a bit excited. I think he will get over 55 points in fact i am expecting him to get that minimum if he plays top line.

Those would be career highs for goals and points so technically your expectations are high relative to what the player has shown he can do in his first 5 seasons.

22 G, 37 A, 59 Pts
if mostly on 1st line

or

19 G, 33 A, 52 Pts
if mostly on 2nd line (w/ Backs, Tkachuk; if Flames obtain another winger via trade/FA top play with Johnny/Mony)

(pace for 82 games)

I'll say +65. A combination of playing with better linemates, a fresh start, and another year of experience will boost him significantly. Plus he is hitting his true prime years this season.

We are really getting this kid at exactly the perfect time, imo.

If he plays on the 2nd line it will be him centering Tkachuk and Bennett and Backs and Frolik Brouwer become the 3rd line.

If he plays with Gaudreau and the recently reconstructed Monahan, I'm thinking he'll get at least 50-60 points.

I think he is good to go!

Hmm, seems he needs to work out some quirks first.

I think it is a good bet that a young, Swedish forward with consistently good production takes a jump offensively after five or six years. This seems to be a fairly typical trajectory for players who grew up playing in the SEL.
