Flames STH Seat Relocation

My seats will be up for grabs. PL 18 Row 2

I just moved to 203 Row 21 - I will try to get into the offensive zone next year!

We moved from 224 row 19 to 215 row 14. Both my friend and I were able to have 4 seats together on this move.

I really don't mind being more in the corner and the King Club and good washrooms are there.

Question for long time STH's: how many times have you changed seats over the years? Every year? Once every couple of years? Just to switch things up and/or upgrade/downgrade?

Today was my 5th move in 8 years. I started with whites in year 1. Then the first chance I had, I took any green available which was at the very top on the end. I then moved in the greens 4 times until I got onto row 17 in the Flames attack zone. Stayed there for three years and it was great. Today I jumped down to row 10 in the whites (on the end) to get in front of the walkways and section entrances. My new goal now is to get to row 5 in whites on the end, which I have never seen available in relocation... But that will be the mission going forward.

Basically I am trying the find the best value (to me) for money in a section.

It was good. You'll enjoy the quick walk to concessions or washrooms for sure. I'll miss that haha

Since 99-2000, I have probable moved about 10 or 12 times.

We started out the first season with really good value Greens (205 row 18) in year 1, back during the "Save the Flames" campaign. It was all we could afford, but felt we needed to buy what we could. The next year, we moved to Row 12 Orange, again in 205. Tickets were easy to move back then, as the team was horrible for a long time.

Then they put up the safety netting so we moved to 226, row 16. At the end of the 03-04 season, we added an additional game pack in 226 row 18 for 04-05 which gave us the benefit of those secured seats for the whole 04 playoff run. Nice perk! Then we changed those to full seasons a couple years later

After the lockout, we moved down to row 15 and 16 in 226. And the year after that, we moved across to 212 row 15 and 13. It has been about 6 seasons now that I haven't been able to move the row 13 to row 11 or 12, which starts that price level. We did move the Row 15 up a price level to row 8 three season ago, and this season just moved those up to row 7.

I can tell you that I had better luck back when none of it was online, and you had to go to the dome in person. I would just bring a laptop and work all day at the dome, and wait for seats to be tagged in real time. Far better than online, if you could afford to hangout at the dome all day.

I can also tell you that to get row 11 or 12 in section 212 or 226 will take many years. Basically, it takes a major life change or death for those people to give up the seats. It has been the exact same people in them year after year.

Initially I bought 2 seats in 98/99 (Sec 202), moved to 3 seats in 02/03 (Sec 202), and back to 2 seats (Sec 220) this year.

Whole bunch of seats in 210 row 16 available, but I think we've decided to stay put in 215 row 16 in the attack end.

If you stay that close to centre ice there isn't really anything lower.

You could get a touch closer by moving further away from centre ice.

For example there's a pair in 224 row 18. One section further from centre ice, but a row closer.

And a pair in 223 row 16.

Just talked to my rep and there is an awesome pair in orange for anyone willing to get creative. 202 row 13/14 single seats right in front of each other.

Big change since yesterday. Looks like those are the only pairs of orange left, no more pairs in greens, barely and sets of 3 in green either.

I am surprised they sat there an hour and a half.
The last row isn't all that bad. You can stand whenever you like, lean forward, and never have someone kicking the back of your chair.

Ya it was kind of strange. They sat there for about an hour as “Green” and available but If you went to add them to cart they went NA. I had basically given up on them but circled back one last time and they were suddenly available to add. Strange especially that it was around 730 or so...

I was pretty discouraged up that point. When I logged in at 5 I had a handful of Green pairs to choose from. Found a pair on the other side that were good and added them to cart. Kept searching around looking at other pairs thinking I had that pair on “hold.” Went to go pay for them and they were gone. Felt like an idiot!!! No green pairs were left by that time.

Went home and read the this thread and saw your edit and ran to my computer lol! It’ll be a fun little upgrade from deep in the PLs!

The seats I want are whites in rows 5-8 preferably in the attack zone, but I'd take the other side too. I prefer the ends because of the value and smaller sections and I like the mezzanine for quick beer/food runs. They're fairly rare, so I'm more than happy to keep my aisles in 221 row 15. But if someone wanted to downgrade their whites for a premium pair of oranges, I wouldn't say no...

I debated those seats after ComixZone grabbed the pair in row 18. Based on the picture I wasn't sure how far that wall to the left comes out and wasn't sure if it would be bothersome at all - So I left it there hoping to find something else.
