Fantastic result!! Its got to be Montreal or Buffalo, I can't see Carolina winning it with such high odds.

What you don't want is a team we could trade, say, Brodie, Fox or Kylington to for a good forward, getting Dahlin.

Carolina pretty much won even if they pick third.

Isls with back to back picks at 11-12. That is actually pretty nice for them.

Are there any draft-eligible twins ranked in the mid-first round?

All in the east. It stands to reason that the only time we’d have decent luck is when we don’t have a pick

I think Dahlin wanted to be in Ottawa.

I'm very excited that the Canucks and Oilers didn't move up. For a team like Carolina, I am happy that there is at least a team that actually tries to make the playoffs be rewarded for their efforts. Last year was Philly. Scary to think that our pick was sooo close to being top 3.

Guess we can be thankful that we're not talking about how we were only lucky enough to win the draft lottery once the pick was traded away.

The top 5 is still a good place to pick. If the Coyotes were #3, they would have missed out on Dahlin/Svechnikov regardless. They can still get a good defenseman in Boqvist.

Almost perfect result! The only change that I'd make would be Detroit for Montreal, but I'm pretty interested to see how Bergevin bungles this
Praise Scorch for the excellent result

Edmonton got screwed, but the Canucks are still in a good spot.
they are in position to pick Wahlstrom, Dobson, Hughes and Bouchard.

Thanks, Janko. You saved us from a riot.

You abandon possible riot opportunities too quickly.

Making the gms attend the draft lottery is one of the funniest and humiliating things I’ve ever seen. Lol
