I'm having more fun watching Vegas then I've had watching the Flames in a long time.

Jeez, you have to keep your head up 24/7 when William Carrier is on the ice.

I think it was Manson, one of Vatanen or Theodore, and Rakell and/or Silfverberg. They pretty much had to make the deal.

They protected 4 D and traded a pick for them to take Theodore if memory serves me right.

Protected Vatanen, Lindhohm, Fowler and Manson.

Tuch and Haula from Minnesota are the most incredible steals from the Vegas expansion draft and auxiliary trades. Will be major assets for a long long time.

Tuch is a great skater and a huge guy.

I love how quickly Vegas moves the puck up the ice with stretch passes. They also don't rely on that garbage play of getting the puck 5 feet into the zone and dropping it back to the boards just inside the blue line.

They protected Bieksa (NMC), Fowler, and Lindholm.

Anaheim traded Vegas Theodore in order to take Stoner off their hands and to not take Vatanen. As a second-year pro, Theodore was exempt from the Expansion Draft.

Look at that pressure. Turnover, transition then ping, shot off the post. Up 5-0

How many teams copied the Florida Panthers system from the previous 3 seasons?

Gallant may have looked at this roster and adapted the style to maximize it. Sign of a great coach.

That's a bad tripping call. No way that should not be a slew foot. Meier was just finishing his check. Miller bailed out at the last millisecond when Meier had no time to adjust.

Some coaches tailor the system to the players they have, instead of trying to train players to fit a system.

Different systems for different players skillsets?

So, he had a revelation this season with Vegas or Panthers had less talent?

Can't stand Perron, another little weasel who accidentally on purpose bumps the goalie. Always near the crease.

Vatanen was then subsequently traded for Adam Henrique.

Lol.

Can Vegas just lose already so people will stop pretending Gallant reinvented the sport and concept of coaching? That and the never ending passive aggressive comments directed at the Flames.

Sharks are now lining up on their blue line. Taking a page out of Bob Johnson's playbook to play against speed from the opposition going thru neutral zone.
