You're right AV was unable to close the deal and win a Cup. However I think it is fair to say the bar for the Calgary Flames is lower just getting into the playoffs is viewed as a successful season.
What I'm unclear about is what is the long term plan for this club? Is Bill Peters going to win a Stanley Cup?
