Default Raptors really coming on.

Raptors with a big win tonight against the Celtics. Bargnani really starting to show why they picked him. The team is slowing making strides and in their division it don't take a whole lot LOL to be as good as any of them.

Cripes that division is awful, if Mitchell just could get the team to play some semblance of basketball on the road they might just win the darn thing.

Ahh you asked and presto the raps go into New York and pull off the victory. The real exciting thing is yes the division sucks but the Raps are the team that has the potential to improve. And indeed they have been improving all season and are steadily looking better on offense and defense. Humphries and Graham have added the rebounding they need. Jones on the floor less is great and when Mo Pete comes back Jones can sit for long periods of time. He is the least of the pickups they made. Bargnani looks better and better every time I watch him. Now he is slamming and has made like 17 free throws in a row. I'm sure they will still be very, very inconsistent but Raps fans have got to have a smile on their face.

Game tonight was pretty entertaining, but man, I hate Nate Robinson. If I was coaching NY, Robinson would be sitting on the bench for the next month. It makes me happy that I can go through the Raptors lineup and there's not a single guy who's attitude I worry about: the young guys work hard and try to learn, the leaders lead, and the role-players work hard and never complain about their minutes.

They've been pretty much as advertised so far. An inconsitent club that shows flashes of greatness and are entertaining. Bosh is showing that he's a legit all-star in the NBA and Bargnani is showing why he was taken number 1. That combo could be deadly in years to come if Bargnani can keep on progressing. That would be a matchup nightmare for the Raps opponents.

I still think that NJ is gonna walk away with the division when they get all their issues sorted out. That said, if the Raps can keep it around 500 ball (which they can) they'll get in due to the dud that is the East.

Bargnani hasn't been the disaster that I thought he would be. I still think it would have been better to have brought in Morrison and his scoring to help Bosh out.

Bill Simmons had a great comment about Parker being absolutely average and he was right. The guy is absolutely average. He won't kill the Rapters but it will tough for them to be a good team with him as a starter.

Wow you have to be kidding --Morrison is a complete liability on defense. A totally one-dimensional player. Bargnani has the ability to score points, is a great passer and will be a good defender and rebounder. No comparison whatsoever IMO.

Nets don't win the division and they really have some problems but so far yep they really have some problems LOL. Raps still have Mo Pete to add to the mix and a ton of depth to make a trade with if necessary.

Half the players in the league are liabilities on defense and I will take Morrisions scoring over all the things Bargnani is supposedly good at now and will be good at in the future.

You are right there is no comparison, Morrison is clearly the better player.

From a huge Bobcats fan here I can tell you Amo's defense has improved greatly this year. He had little time to focus on it at GU as it was basically "score adam score". I also find it funny when people say this, did they actually watch Adam besides march when he was at Gonzaga or are they simply making this comment from what they've "heard"? And this in a league where defense is a complete joke, Wally Szerbiak makes how much to hit a few jump shots and play horific defense? Not to mention Bargnani's defense is far from stellar.

Overall I do think Bargnani has more potential then Adam, but Morrison has stepped in right away and shown he can start for a team and contribute in a big way. There both good players, and both will go on to have very good careers in the NBA.

Raps are looking good, I am hoping that TJ Ford can continue to evolve into the wheeling and dealing point guard that Colangelo envisions. Steve Nash of the Raps. Bosh = Amare... it's pretty good stuff happening up in Toronto, wait a year and they will be fantastic.
