The Flames have to have the most awfully coached special teams in the league. The PP has been established as awful, but the PK does not suppress entries well, and it is so passive and vulnerable to cross-ice passes.

That they're not 31st in both situations is testament to having some pretty good players

They draft crap players.

Connor Hellebuyck is certainly rewarding the Jets’ patience at the NHL level. Time for the Flames to stop wasting time with crap vets, and put some pressure on their NHL coaches to help develop NHL players.

Many young goalies though take a lot of time to develop. If they are going to take a look at Gillies here I hope he starts the last two games.
