McDavid might break Sittler's record on Saturday.

Lol. Stay on the boards. Play the puck behind the net, then to the point, low quit shot blocked or deecred. Rinse and repeat. 2018 flames.

With Johnny coming back, maybe we can actually score a goal against the Oilers on Saturday.

The young guns era, they always lossed by one goal. At least those teams scored. Right now, they can't scored at all!

This is our depth, this forward group is essentially one line and Tkachuk

I am glad that I turn down some free tickets for the game tonight. This is so very depressing. At least I forget about to watch the first period while doing some chores at home

Hamonic finished now too. Hope it's not severe.

Mind numbing isn't it? How is this allowed to continue.

Now that it's been proven that Ferland only scored because of JG I am excited to see what and actual good player could do on his right side. Hope we find someone.

At this point I'm looking for small positives to take to next year. So far it's Rasmus is looking solid, Lazar is playing well, and Shore looks like he could fill a role.

I really wish Jankowski would seize this ice time opportunity. If he could take a step forward, it would do so much for the Flames depth.

I feel like Rene Bourque would easily make this team -- right now.

I wonder if they try to rough up the golden boy again. That was pretty entertaining.

I was thinking right after the young guns. I don't remember when but I do remember going through entire games just happy they scored a goal. It was almost 20 years ago now though so who knows? Haha

This however has to be one of the worst scoring slumps in franchise history.

edit: It could be worse:

2002/03
Rangers - 0
Panthers - 0
Thrashers - 1
Rangers - 1
Blues - 0
Wings - 0
Oilers - 1

3 goals in that 7 game losing streak.

Not intending to start a kerfuffle but surely the last half offensive production from Bennett , Jankowski and Ferland along with Backlund has to be considered a huge disappointment.

Well the depth is bad but it's not THIS bad. The problem when you lose your all of your top scorers is the match ups go to hell. Bennett, Brouwer and Backlund would be a plenty fine 3rd line but they're getting 1st line match-ups. Not a lot of teams have a third line that wouldn't struggle against the oppositions top pairing and shut down line.
