Haha I was just gonna post that I just hope it's not a team that hasn't won a cup yet. Although I like teams like Nashville and Winnipeg.

Jets or Preds. My roommate is a Jets fan so I've been watching a bunch of their games. Super fun team to watch, with an elite sniper, great C depth, good D and great goaltending. A team that was patient, didn't listen to fans who wanted the GM/coach fired, and now things look to be coming together and making them a contender for years to come.
Or Preds because they are the team I had hoped the Flames would emulate. Built from the back end out, they utitlize their D properly and their GM made some great trades to get them to where they are.
In the East I wouldn't mind the Pens coming out on top again. I do enjoy dynasties and the Pens have a solid chance to three-peat.

Lotta Vegas love on here. This is 100% sour grapes but they can go #### themselves. Hope they’re swept in the first round. Expansion team not only makes the playoffs but tops in the division.? Screw that. Their fans are already spoiled, they don’t need a cup just to continue the “feel good story”.

Whichever team has the best expected value in terms of betting payout entering the playoffs.
If winning money wasn't an option, as a Flames fan I of course would not cheer for any other team in our conference and especially not one from our division.

Like the feel good story of the Knights, but I don’t want any team in our division winning the cup. I also don’t like Vegas because they took our playoff spot.

I tend to cheer for players, not teams aside from the Flames. Even on teams like the Ducks I can usually find someone I like (not the Oilers or Canucks though).
Gun to my head I'd like the Preds and maybe the Caps or Pens. Do not want TB (though I like some of their players - they already stole a PO), Columbus (Torts), Toronto (Toronto), Boston or Phillie (just meh).
eta: Not the Jets - don't like the "we're the best fans who suffered through out team moving" business and the cheap ass white out

Was cheering for Jets...but a lot of Jets fans are starting to get really obnoxious now that the Jets are having a good year. Like really obnoxious...Roughriders' fan obnoxious. I'm at the point where the only other Canadian team I could stomach cheering for would be Ottawa...but they probably aren't wining for a while.
Going to cheer for Washington.
