I really don't want anyone to win...some are more tolerable
Teams that I don't know one person that cheers for them are the best

Penguins in the East, Avalanche in the West. I'll probably just cheer against certain teams rather than cheer for teams, however.

I'm still confused as to how someone with any shred of personal integrity can cheer for VGK in the postseason. Their fanbase is like 15% actual Vegas sports fans, and 85% folks from other cities who abandoned their previous fandom to cheer for the flavor of the month. Maybe it's just me, but those losers don't deserve to experience success just yet.
 Let's go Jets and Capitals.

They are a division rival for one. But more importantly, they are an expansion team. That fanbase needs to understand pain and disappointment. They haven't earned a cup yet.

I hope Vegas wins it all.

I'm ok with Winnipeg, Nashville, San Jose, Boston, Pittsburgh, Washington, New Jersey, Florida, Dallas, Columbus, or Philadelphia winning it.
I'm not ok with Toronto, LA, Tampa, Anaheim, or Colorado.

My feelings are mixed with Vegas. They've been fun to follow this year but a brand new team winning it all just doesn't sit right with me.

Surprised to see so many people saying Leafs. I guess my awesome posting has converted you all.
In the West I'd like to see Vegas or Colorado. In the East I'd like Ovechkin to finally get a cup or the Pens to 3peat with Kessel winning the Conn Smythe.

Jets. I'm working in Manitoba these days and they are a fun team to watch.
Other than that, it might be a pretty relaxing spring. No annoying greaser or canuck fans to deal with and the worst thing that can happen fan-wise would be the Leafs winning. Since the Flames have never had any sort of a real rivalry with them (other than fleecing us on a certain trade) I can probably handle the Leafs fans and maybe even support them.

			Barf.
It boggles the mind how so many Flames fans can hope for the Winnipeg freaking Jets to win the Stanley Cup. But if you must, it is perhaps best to set your sights on more realistic territory, and hope for the Winnipegers to win a playoff round—something that has only happened twice in nearly 25-years.

By sharp contrast to anything the Jets could do, a Nashville v. Washington SC final would be spectacular, and I can't pick a winner.

I would have said Preds but that means I'd have to look at that god awful yellow for waaaaay too long
So I'd love to see a Jets vs Caps final

I could see myself cheering for the Jets (small market Canadian team), Vegas (underdog) and the Preds (fan of Subban) in the West. Maybe Boston in the East. The California teams and Toronto can pound sand.

Canadian Teams are a Hard No.
Nashville? Okay, they've put in their dues and earned it. Came close last year.

Lets face it though, I think this is an Eastern team's to lose.

The West is just too tight.

Vegas at the beginning of the year was supposed to be destined to be 31st by almost every analyst based on what was called a pretty bad roster.

It goes to show you that a group of mostly 3rd liners and without any stars can do well with an excellent and competent coach (hint hint not GG)

They also had the Mandalay Bay incident at the start of the season. They also had so many injuries they had to down to a 5th string goalie.

They deserve to win even if it's just for Oilers fan to boast that they beat the eventually beat the Stanley Cup winners 8-2 one day (with that 5th string goalie).
