Clean house except for the core. The supporting cast really dropped the ball.

Shop Brodie, Bennett, Frolik, Ferland.

No, he really hasn't. The kid's got 13 goals and 21 points so far in his first year in the league. Has he had a few sub-par games? Of course he has. He's a rookie fer christ sakes. But overall he's been a solid addition to the team in my opinion, and he's only gonna get better.

Ferland is to defense as a honey badger is to hugs.

For me, Tkachuk and Gaudreau are the only players that should be untouchable. There are some significant names on the roster that need a brain or heart transplant.

Just saw highlights. Score as expected based on play of late, no? Lots of shots, Corsi likely through the roof. Sure, Gulutzan sucks, but how does a team on the brink of elimination lose to the Coyotes? Quite the message to the coaching staff I'd say. Time to bring the boys from the farm team up, give us something worth watching at least.

Agreed!

The expectations were different under Hartley and the Flames for the most part caught teams off guard. They weren't supposed to be a playoff team.

Injuries in Q4 of the season took their toll no doubt but remember how well we did under Hartley when Gio went down in 2015?

Something seems rotten in the room.

Still can't believe Brouwer was the extra attacker along with primetime on PP1. Wow just mind-numbing decision making.

That powerplay is something else though holy s***.

Garbage coaching all around.

It mattered 40 games ago. It's too late to be worth it at this point. Treliving went all in on this year with this coaching staff, so he earned the criticism coming to him this off-season.

Allowed himself to be handcuffed by his own process.

If I'm Treliving, I'd shut a few guys down tomorrow (smith, monahan, chucky). Bring up some kids and let them get some time in the NHL.

Like yesterday I didn't watch and I'm not surprised at all. You're fighting for your playoff lives and you can't even beat Arizona. That's just sad.

Okay. It is this type of thinking that will forever define this team’s mediocrity (or worse). I don’t know how anyone could watch Janko’s last 50 games and think that type of play is what playoff success is made of.

That whole third line was a complete bust all year.

These players need to be accountable, however it is not lost on them that Troy Brouwer continually gets called on. Right or wrong, I am sure situations like this has alienates the players and coaches to some degree.

I would add Gio to the list of untouchables.
