Flames are completely outplaying the sharks. Really good to watch - all lines are rolling, defense are jumping up, defensive zone coverage is aggressive.

Good first, pretty poor period by Backlund, too many poor decisions and turnovers. Needs to clean that up.

Not a whole lot going on in that period. But Flames being down wouldn't have felt right given run of play.
Sharks have created next to nothing which is great to see.
